Im Zuge des Vertiefenden Wahlpflichtfaches Sozialarbeit und Medienreflexion haben wir (Elisabeth, Iris, Sabine und Thomas) uns mit dem Thema globale Kultur der Musik beschäftigt. Dabei entstand die einfache Idee verschiedene Personen nach einem Lied zu fragen, dass ihnen gut gefällt. Wichtig waren uns auch die Herkunft der jeweiligen Person und die Assoziationen zu dem Musikstück zu erfahren.
Der Grundgedanke dabei ist die Sensibilisierung der Hörer das Thema Migration betreffend.
Aufgezeigt wird, dass Geschmack, in unserem Fall bezogen auf Musik, differieren und unabhängig von der jeweiligen Kultur sein kann. Weiters ist es interessant das Musik verbinden und gleichzeitig Unterschiede aufzeigen kann.

Mit dem Medium Radio sollte unsere Idee verwirklicht werden indem regelmäßige Radiosequenzen entstehen, die diese Personen mit ihren Liedern und Geschichten präsentieren.
Die Verwirklichung ist gedacht als kontinuierliche Ausstrahlung einzelner Beiträge (mit Gleichem Thema und ausdifferenzierter Fragestellung). Jede Woche könnten sich Teilnehmer per Telefon, Internet, usw. beim Radioteam für ein Interview melden.
Die Durchführbarkeit stellte einen zentralen Punkt des Projekts dar. Deshalb konzentrierten wir uns auf ein möglichst direktes, konkretes und unkompliziertes Konzept.
Die konkrete Umsetzung erfolgte durch Interviews mit Personen mit unterschiedlicher Herkunft und auch aus verschiedenen Altersgruppen
